All of us at Buresh Home Solutions believe that in order to be a good corporate citizen we should do what we can to help those in need. We believe that by giving back we can not only show our appreciation to our customers and the communities where we work, but make a real difference for individuals in those communities.
BURESH HOME SOLUTIONS PROUDLY ANNOUCES THE COMPLETION OF THE EXTERIOR REMODEL OF THE RONALD MCDONALD HOUSE IN DES MOINES
Buresh Home Solutions is excited to announce that our team recently partnered with a number of product and service providers to improve the exterior of the Ronald McDonald House in downtown Des Moines. The companies and individuals included in the project include R & R Building Products, Allied Building Products, Duke Aerial Equipment, Exterior Sheet Metal, Signs Now and the team from Buresh Home Solutions included Dustin Cozad’s Team, Terry Cozad’s Team, Tom Wood and John Farhnam.
To help us reach our goal of giving $10,000 to charities this year and help one family in need we have developed two programs for 2008.
“Exterior Renovation” is our first program where we are committed to providing all materials and labor (free of charge) to the Exterior Renovation Award Recipient. The individual or family selected by our independent Renovation Board will receive either a free roof, siding or window replacement depending on what need is determined to be greater by the Renovation Board. This program was designed to help a family in need who has exhibited a strong commitment to helping their communities and others.
“BHS Charitable Giving” is another program which will begin in 2008. Buresh Home Solutions will donate 1% of the material and labor cost for each completed job in 2008 to a charity of our customer’s choice. In an effort to ease the donation process we have developed a list of charities for our customer’s to choose from. They include Ronald McDonald House, MDA, United Way of Central Iowa, American Cancer Association Midwest Division (Iowa), Alzheimer’s Association Greater Iowa Chapter, The ARC of Iowa, American Lung Association of Iowa, American Heart Association of Iowa and American Red Cross of Iowa.
Nominations for the "Exterior Renovation" will begin to be accepted on April 1, 2008. Individuals looking to nominate others will be able to do so through our web site.
We are also developing fundraising partnerships with schools and churches throughout Central Iowa during 2008. This progam was developed because of recommendations from our manufacturer's who have seen, first hand very successful partnerships around the country.
If you would like to learn more about potential fundraising partnerships please don't hesitate to contact us.
